Regional Food Pantries and Services

United Way of the Greater Capital Region has a robust website with information on everything from housing and food to health care and utility assistance. Visit their website or dial 2-1-1 to find services near you.

CAPTAIN Community Human Services (Clifton Park & Glenville NY): Offers a Summer Meal Program, Housing, a Winter Coat Drive, a Food Pantry, a Youth Shelter, and more to those in need.

Franklin Community Center (Saratoga Springs NY): Offers a Food Pantry, The Free Store, permanent housing, and a Furniture Distribution to those in need throughout Saratoga County.

Galway Town Office (Galway NY): Offers a Food Pantry to all residents of the Galway School District.

Jonesville United Methodist Church (Clifton Park NY): Provides a Food Pantry to residents of the Shenendehowa and Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake School Districts. The Pantry offers food, toiletries, and cleaning products.

LifeWorks Community Action (Ballston Spa NY): Offers a Food Pantry, a Pantry on Wheels, a Rural Food Delivery Program, and more to Saratoga County residents who are in need.

Mechanicville Area Community Services Center (Mechanicville NY): Provides a Food Pantry, Pet Pantry, Summer Meals Program, Winter Coat Program, a Free Market, and more to those in need throughout Saratoga County.

Shelters of Saratoga (Saratoga Springs NY): Provides a Code Blue Winter Shelter, a year-round Emergency Shelter, Supportive Housing, and an Outreach Program to those in need.

Soul Saving Station Church of Saratoga Springs (Saratoga Springs NY): Provides the Mother Susan Anderson shelter, a shelter only open to women and children of the state of New York.

The Salvation Army of Saratoga Springs (Saratoga Springs NY): Offers a Soup Kitchen, a Food Pantry, Youth Programs, Women’s Groups, and more to those in need.

Veterans & Community Housing Coalition (Ballston Spa NY): Provides Transitional Housing Programs, Community Housing Programs, Veterans Community Housing, a Meal Pantry and more to veterans in need throughout the Capital Region.
