It’s all to common when a patient comes in the office and says “hey doc, I just don’t have the time to eat, move, or think well.” If you find yourself saying this be careful…
Let that be your first sign that your health is wrongfully placed on your priority list. We get so busy with kids, school, work, spouses, sports…etc, that our health takes a back seat. However when our health finally fails us due to neglect (and it will!) then it becomes top priority again. Without your health how are you able to do the things that you MUST???? I always recommend keeping things in perspective. When a patient comes in and says that they are too busy to take vitamins, get adjusted, exercise, meditate… I say “what could’nt you do if you were sick for a week, a month, a year” When put in the right perspective, nothing is more important than your health, take care of it. For more on this and other topics, listen in to “The Wellness Doc” Saturday mornings at 9:30AM on 1540AM.
