Schuylerville is a historic village located in the Town of Saratoga in Saratoga County, home to the Saratoga National Historic Park where the Battle of Saratoga was fought, a turning point in our nation's fight for independence during the American Revolution.

Schuylerville is located just 11 miles from downtown Saratoga Springs. A short 20 minute car ride will bring you to the village's many attractions, including the General Philip Schuyler House where free, guided tours are offered Friday through Sundays, Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, and on Saturday and Sunday from early September through mid-October.

You can also enjoy the communities many parks, including Fort Hardy / Schuyler's Canal Park, which rests between the old Champlain Canal and the Hudson River, and is a popular spot for Village events held throughout the year. While in the area, you'll definitely want to check out the Lock 5 Champlain Canal Park. This active, operating lock served as a model for the Panama Canal and has been in operation since 1823!

After a busy day, wind down at one of the area's delicious restaurants, including Clark's Steakhouse, voted by Saratoga.com readers as a Fab Five winner in 2016 and 2015
