Absolutely the worst management. I needed ti get to Albany Airport by 4am. The driver arrived early—which was great—but immediately informed me that 1. He didn’t accept credit cards (no word about this when I made the reservation); 2. If I needed a receipt, he’d handwrite one from some generic receipts he’d picked up at Walmart (I am sure the IRS will love that!), and 3) I would be sharing the ride (the dispatcher told the driver I knew all about this and had agreed in advance, NOT TRUE!) In a world where COVID is still out there, who the hell puts strangers together in a cab without advance consent??
Then when I said I did not intend to pay full whack for a shared ride, the driver called the dispatcher who told me that was just the way it was, if I didn’t want to pay full, they’d drop me back at my hotel. As I was already running late (the second rider wasn’t scheduled for 15 minutes, which made me even later!), that wasn’t an option.
I made my flight but not without angst and stress. I can only again emphasize that you should not patronize this terrible company. I did tip the driver well, as this was not his fault, and my tip was both money and advice to find a better company to work for.
