Lodging & Meals at Camp Little Notch: Comfort and Nutrition in Harmony with Nature
At Camp Little Notch, we believe that comfort and connection to nature go hand in hand. Our platform tents offer campers a cozy, rustic experience while keeping them close to the beauty of the Adirondack wilderness. Each tent features a sturdy wooden base and poles, supporting a canvas cover and rain fly to keep campers dry during summer showers. In keeping with our commitment to harmony with nature, there’s no electricity, allowing campers to fully immerse themselves in the natural surroundings.
Each tent comfortably accommodates four campers, each with their own cot for a restful night’s sleep. The tent flaps can be rolled up for fresh air and views of the outdoors or closed tight during rainstorms for a secure and dry night. Tents are grouped into small, age-specific units, each with a team of dedicated counselors who are always nearby. While campers have their own space, counselors are always within earshot, ready to provide support or answer any questions at any time—day or night. Campers are encouraged to approach their counselors if they need anything, even in the middle of the night.
Our food service team works hard to prepare fresh, nutritious meals that cater to a variety of dietary needs, ensuring every camper has access to wholesome, delicious food. Each day features a variety of fruits, vegetables, and protein options. We are experienced in accommodating various dietary needs, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and lactose/egg-free diets. Campers with specific dietary needs receive meals that are tailored to their preferences, while still closely matching the main offerings enjoyed by the rest of the camp. We ensure that every camper can enjoy mealtime with ease, comfort, and satisfaction.
