Hi and thanks for checking out my blog! I am passionate about food and small business, which has led me to start “Bitten.” Bitten is a blog about food and beverage start-ups in the Capital District. Features include talking with business owners to find out how they were bitten by the entrepreneurial bug, information for small business owners and honest food reviews of places around town.

Bitten came about after I closed my small start up gourmet cookie company Park 19 Cookies. I loved my business but knew that the endless hours of baking was not where my passion was. I know how difficult it can be to get exposure for a business and I remain passionate about food and travel. That is why Bitten is a great opportunity for food and beverage business’s to get exposure and tell the world their story about how they got started and why they love making others happy with their delightful treats. I also love food and will bring readers along on my culinary journey throughout the Capital District covering everything from the great, the bad and the ugly.

On the weekends, I love hiking in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains, boating with friends, snowshoeing in the winters and playing with my two rescue dogs Lily and Stella.
