On Saturday, July 3, Smokey Greene takes over the gazebo at the Summer Sounds of Salem concert series at 11am during the Farmer’s Market in the center of town. Called “a walking anthology” of country music, Smokey Greene has performed with all of the biggies (Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, Ernest Tubbs, Tex Ritter, et al.). He entertains with the deft touch of a magician and can deliver the message in a song like not other. He is one of the very gifted few entertainers who can walk on stage with just a guitar and have the audience demanding more. Don’t miss him!
