While you are exploring this diverse park, notice all the natural springs and geysers through out the area.\u00a0 These are a result of the fault in the earths crust below the city.\u00a0 On a hot day take a walk over to one of the two pool complexes for a swim.\u00a0 During the winter the park is a popular destination for cross-country skiing.\u00a0 With the recent addition of 345 acres along the Kayderosseras Creek on the southern boundary line, the park&#8217;s total area now covers over 1,000 acres.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Directions<\/strong>: Warming Hut<\/p>\n<p>From downtown Saratoga Springs head south on Broadway, which turns into Rte 9.\u00a0 Make a right into the main entrance.\u00a0 The warming hut parking area is the first left.\u00a0 Continue on Avenue of the Pines to access SPAC and other areas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Directions<\/strong>: Geyser Loop Road (summer months only)<\/p>\n<p>Continue past the main park entrance for 1 mile.\u00a0 Make a right into the park on the East West Rd.
