Starting from Longfellows Hotel and Restaurant, this road ride takes you along Saratoga Lake, over rolling farmland, and past Saratoga National Historic Park, where the Battles of Saratoga took place during the American Revolution. The Battles of Saratoga are one the most pivotal moments in American History. Stop by the visitor center and catch up on your Revolutionary War history. The traffic is light throughout the ride. The rolling hills provide a good leg workout. Longfellows is an excellent spot to stop, after your ride, for superb food and drink.
Ride Directions: Take a right out of Longfellows’ parking lot. Continue south on Rte 9P over Fish Creek Bridge past Saratoga Tackle and along Saratoga Lake. At 11.5 miles make a left onto Rte 423, Battlefield Road (follow signs to Saratoga Battlefield). Take a left onto Rte 32. The entrance to Saratoga National Historic Park is on the right. Continue on Rte 32. Make a left onto Rte 68. At the end of Rte 68 make a right onto Stafford’s Bridge Road, which continues over Fish Creek. Immediately over the bridge make a left onto Meadowbrook Road (Rte 65). You’re on the home stretch. Stay to the left, merge onto Dyer Switch Road. Make a left at the end, onto Union Ave. Longfellows is on the right

From downtown Saratoga Springs head away from town on Union Ave (Rte 9P) over the Northway (I-87). Continue on Union Ave up the hill, past the golf course to Longfellows’ parking lot on the right.
From I-87, take Exit 14 and head south on Rte 9P. Continue on 9P (Union Ave) up the hill, past the golf club to Longfellows’ parking lot on the right.
