There are several opportunities to view the Adirondacks from the mountain ridge that divides the main park from the Hudson River.
During the spring, summer and early fall there are 148 tent and RV campsites available for a nominal fee. The lake is open for swimming and kayaking. There is a nature center, playground and organized environmental education programs at the main park.
