Located on the northern border Glens Falls with Queensbury this destination offers miles of varied terrain for cross country skiing. Many of the area high schools practice and race here in the afternoon and on the weekends. Several trailheads provide access to the extensive network of trails. Lighted trails make this destination unique and a valuable recreation area in the region.
Directions: Route 9, Glens Falls, NY 12801
Drive east at Exit 19 off of I-87. Continue east on Aviation Rd. Access is available in the parking lot near Dick’s Sporting Goods. Continue on Aviation Rd and make a right and travel south on Route 9. Access is available in the parking lot behind the Inside Edge Ski Shop. Access is also available by continuing down Route 9 and making your first right onto Fire Road, trail head is on the right.
