of Wayne Samascott to its membership.
Samascott, of Malta,
is vice president of Malta
Development Co. Inc.
He has been educated
and certified by the largest
organization in the
home building industry,
the National Association
of Home Builders
(NAHB) and holds the
designation of certified green professional.
Samascott has been involved in Malta development
construction sites from a young age.
Malta Development construction superintendant,
he is involved in the daily supervision of
every home, working with sub-contractors and
suppliers to ensure that each home meets the
highest standards of quality and is delivered in
a timely manner.
In the winter, he participates in Snow Care
For Troops, using his own plow truck to provide
free snow removal for local families with
members serving overseas.
C.T. Male Associates Engineering, Surveying,
Architecture & Landscape Architecture
PC named David R. Wahrlich, CPA as chief
financial officer.
Wahrlich was hired as director of operations
earlier this year and brings over 30 years of
experience in finance within various organizations.
He will be responsible for all facets of accounting
and financial management of the firm.
Prior to joining C.T. Male, Wahrlich was
employed by another professional engineering
services firm for 22 years, including 15 years as
chief financial officer.
Anthony DePasquale was hired as the
site administrator for
Malta Med Emergent
Care at 6 Medical Park
Drive in Malta.
DePasquale was formerly
the service line
director for Medical
Imaging and Radiation
Oncology at Berkshire
Medical Center in Pittsfield,
Mass., where he oversaw both hospital based
and outpatient imaging centers.
DePasquale earned an associate degree in
radiologic technology and a bachelor’s degree
in computer science from SUNY Plattsburgh,
as well as a bachelor’s degree in business
administration/healthcare management from
Empire State College.
Bonacio Construction Inc. hired Peter
D’Aloia as director of operations.
He will oversee the day-to-day activities
of the Bonacio Construction and Project
Management teams. He will focus on areas
including contract negotiation, scheduling and
fiscal oversight of job sites, as well as overall
project controls, forecasting and business
development.
D’Aloia has been with Turner Construction
Co. for almost 20 years, gaining experience
from projects such as the USTA Tennis Facility
in Queens, Experimental Media and Performing
Arts Center at RPI, and GlobalFoundries
in Malta. He was the head of cost/scheduling
for Turner’s New York City office. After a move
back to the Capital Region in 1999, he set up
and ran purchasing and most recently was head
of Business Development for Turner.
D’Aloia is a Saratoga Hospital board member,
a Stillwater Educational Foundation board
member, former VP and board member of the
Saratoga American Little League, is current JV
boys basketball coach for Stillwater.

Miller will be responsible for supporting

Works, Inc., an affiliate of Health Association
of New York, as a senior pre-employment
screener. In this position,
she conducted background investigations
for large and small firms and performed
verification of state and county records.
Marshall and Sterling Insurance of Glenville announce the addition of Dave Witchley and Sean Davids to the staff.
Witchley comes to Marshall & Sterling with more than 15 years of sales experience, most recently with a national insurance carrier. A graduate of Utica College of Syracuse University with a bachelor of science degree in public relations, he is an active community volunteer with a number of non-profit and civic organizations in central New York.
Davids joined the Glenville P&C sales team after working for the Groups Benefits Division, where he coordinated benefits for a wide array of clients throughout New York state. He holds a bachelor of arts degree in health sciences from Castleton State College in Vermont, and is an active member of the Schenectady County Chamber of Commerce.
TD Bank named Robert D. Davey of
Halfmoon as regional vice president for
the Upstate New York region.
Based in Latham,
he is responsible for
overseeing commercial
lending, small
busines s banking
and related products
and services provided
to customers at
TD Bank’s 26 retail
stores across the region.
Davey has more than 30 years of experience
in banking. Prior to joining TD Bank,
he worked at JP Morgan Chase Bank for
three decades, helping to build lines of
business in both the commercial and government
sectors. In recent years, he was
responsible for the large government effort
in New York, New England and Maryland.
Prior to accepting his new TD Bank
position, he was the senior vice president
for Chase Commercial Banking for Eastern
N.Y. and Vermont. Davey also is a certified
treasury professional.
Davey has served on many charitable
boards supporting local not-for-profits
and educational institutions such as Siena
College in Loudonville. He also served for
many years as board member and chairman
of the Town of East Greenbush Planning
Board. He is a graduate of Vincentian
Institute and Siena College.

Faucher brings over 25 years of experience

Fingerpaint announced the addition of
Alexandra Roth to its operations team
and Danielle Saladino-Evans to its
corporate communications team.
Prior to joining Fingerpaint , Roth was fundraising coordinator for the Muscular Dystrophy
Association’s Albany office, where she was
responsible for prospecting and soliciting
corporate sponsors and for coordinating
special events. She has also held a number
of sales and clerical positions with the
New York Racing Association, first as a
group sales assistant and sponsorship sales
assistant and later as an identification
service assistant, responsible for on-track
credentialing.
At Fingerpaint, Roth will provide administrative
support and welcome the agency’s
guests and callers. She is a graduate of Siena
College and holds a bachelor’s degree
in marketing and management.
Saladino -Evans brings seven years
of marketing and account
management
experience to Fingerpaint’s

Margaret Hurlburt, CPA, has spent
the past 13 years at two regional CPA
firms. The Fort Edward resident joins

Katrina Tierney joins the audit department,
having recently been employed
since 2009 as an audit senior accountant
at a firm in Burlington, Vt. The Saratoga
resident earned her undergraduate degree
in accounting/finance from St. Michael’s
College in Colchester, Vt., and spent one
semester studying abroad at the University
of Melbourne in Australia. She is currently
working toward her CPA.

of Le Moyne College where he earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting as well

Mark Quackenbush, of Fort Edward,

Christopher Healy joins the audit
department. He is a 2013 graduate of The

degree in business administration and a

Thomas Piraino, an intern at Marvin
and Company last tax season, earned his
undergraduate and master’s degrees in
accounting from Siena College in May. He
joins the audit department.

anounced two hirings and a promotion.
Brian R. von Schenk joined the company
in the Credit Administration department
as a loan quality assurance analyst.
Most recently, he was an enrollment agent
at Medcare in Delray Beach, Fla. He has
a bachelor of science in accounting from
Marist College in Poughkeepsie.
Mark A. Nagelsmith joined the
Trust Department as vice president, trust
administration. He has 25 years in the
financial services industry and currently
serves as president of the board of the Boys
and Girls Club of Schenectady.
Lori L. Wilson was promoted to loan
quality assurance supervisor. She has been
with Adirondack Trust since 2003 and during
her time she has been a commercial
loan processor, a loan administrator/lead,
a credit and compliance reports analyst,
and a loan quality assurance analyst.

Mathew P. Barry and April M. Dalbec
were made shareholders in the firm

appointment of Robert M. Leonard to
executive vice president.
He has been employed with Trustco Bank for
27 years in various positions, most recently as
senior vice president and corporate secretary.
Leonard is a 1986 graduate of Niagara
University with a B.S. in business.
